Mason Tilden is the managing member of Tilden Capital Management. He has been working with asset managers since 1998 in both the equity and fixed income sectors.
From 2005, Mr. Tilden was a structured finance sector manager for Deutsche Asset Management, responsible for the selection and execution of ABS and CMBS debt securities over multiple institutional and insurance portfolios worth close to 17 billion dollars.
He has worked in many capacities within asset management, giving him keen insight into what makes a good asset manager. This experience is the foundation for his portfolio manager quality screens during the asset allocation process.
In 2010 Mr. Tilden launched Tilden Capital Management to serve the financial needs of the busy professional.
He graduated from University of Maryland (B.S. in International Business 1997) and the Columbia Business School (MBA 2009) with honors, and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma national honor society. He is also a CFA charterholder (2007) and a member of New York Society of Security Analysts.
